Dr. Alsafi completed his Doctor of Optometry degree at the Western University in Pomona, California. Dr. Alsafi also completed his Masters of Arts in Biomedical Sciences ‘MABS’ at the Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. He also completed his Bachelor’s in Biology at the California State University in Northridge, California.
In his clinical training, Dr. Alsafi joined private practices in Ohio and California where he focused on Myopia control, pediatrics, glaucoma management and eye diseases. Furthermore, Dr. Alsafi served at the Veteran’s Affairs Hospital in Oklahoma where he mainly managed glaucoma and diabetic eye disease.
During his education, Dr. Alsafi was trained and certified for Surgical Procedures for the Optometric Physician as well as Laser Therapy for the Anterior Segment from the Northeastern State University College of Optometry in Oklahoma.
Dr. Alsafi has been an active Imam, Public Speaker and Religious Director in the SoCal area where he worked continuously at different Non-profit organizations, private high schools, and local religious centers since 2012. His Vision through this effort is to enlighten the people’s hearts and spirits with God consciousness and productive lifestyle as citizens.
Dr. Alsafi enjoys continuing Religious education and research while advancing in many life endeavors.
